    Crystal Picnic - Nooskewl

Hello y'all. Our game Crystal Picnic is now available (in the Sandbox) on OUYA! We need your help with spreading the word, plays, likes and purchases right now!

The game features two main modes: field view which is like an old school RPG and battle mode which is kind of like a 2D pixelized Smash Bros! The demo is pretty short right now so we're looking to fix that, but the full game has a lot more content, even though it's not finished. Here's the trailer, enjoy!

The demo is waaaay too short, like less than a minute if you don't read the texts. Looking forward to your next build.

I'm thinking that a time limited demo might suit this game best. From my point of view there aren't any early enough points to break later than I did. I'll figure out a good time limit and release again soon. Thanks for the input!

Hey derty, thanks man. Positive feedback is really nice sometimes.

I love the graphics and humour of the characters! Before I buy, can you tell me about how many hours of gameplay is there so far in the current Alpha?

Hi wpbx. If you see everything there's about 1 hour or two if you are playing for the first time and really get a feel for the battles including the third character and Egbert's abilities. Here is my game after seeing each location and talking to everyone.

Ok, thanks for replying. Is it updated often?

We try to update once a week. Sometimes it's 2-3 times per week and sometimes it's 2 weeks. I'm going to have an update in a day or two with a couple bugfixes and a better demo. The update after that will probably contain Frogbert's level 1 abilities then Bisou's. That's the plan anyway - any feedback we get may change our priorities. And after all that I'll be adding the third dungeon area, also unless something changes.

A new version of the game has been submitted tonight. The only change was to enhance the demo - it's now a 6 minute, no save limit. If OUYA approves it it could be live later this morning (usually: about 8-10 hours from now but I can't predict their schedule.)
