Proton Pulse OUYA - Pushy Pixels

This thread is for the discussion of Proton Pulse. (note to developer - send me a private message if you would like to edit this thread)

    WELCOME OUYA EARLY ADOPTERS!!!!!

Please enjoy our first release of our first OUYA project! We will be updating periodically to add features and fix any bugs that may be in there (There shouldn't be many, but we have a very small test team). Once the game has been proven to work 100% reliably, we will issue a patch that includes online high scores! (This is so we can try to avoid having to reset the score tables due to bugs/exploits)

Get ready for Classic Arcade Brick-Breaking Action from a whole new perspective!

The entity known as M.O.A.I. has attacked, and the fate of the world is in your hands! You have been chosen to compete in the most diabolical game of atomic paddleball ever to grace the 3rd dimension. Use your paddle to direct the Proton, an energy ball with awesome power and the only thing that can destroy the M.O.A.I. core! If the action gets too fast, use the Space-Time Dilator to turn a sure miss into a deadly volley! Will you be able to conquer over 50 levels and beat M.O.A.I. at his own game?

Grab the soundtrack on iTunes! Search for "Proton Pulse" or go to:

HOW no one talks about that game?
It's a cool breakout revisited in 3D firs person view.

The first time you play it, you'll think "WTF??!?" but then you'll start to learn, to realise how to follow the ball, how the green oval near the ball helps a lot to understand its position.

    Fully supports the X360 pad.
    Costs only 0.99$

    I got it
If you don't try, you'll never know.

Man, I'd have talked about this if I had seen the thread. One of my most played games on the system. Being an oldschool Atari fan and Tempest being my Favorite game of all time, I loved Tempest 2000. You'll see the correlation here in a moment, but on the Jaguar, there was a game called Breakout 2000. Mind you, it was a cool little game, but this would be more what I have in mind when I think about a 2000 series game. T2K set the benchmark with it's killer techno soundtrack and amazing acid trip visuals for it's time. Very awesome stuff. This is like what Breakout 2000 should have been. The Ouya users should surely have this game on their game board and be playing it. Very cool and very fast, it's a classic in the making. I liked the Ouya version so much, I had to download it to my just gotten tablet as well. Cross promotion at it's finest.

    Yeah!
    I know Tempest, it's a great game.

    p.s.
there is a PC game also great -and 100%free- named "Tsunami 2010". It's Tempest clone, and really fantastic one. Shines colors everywhere with cool sounds and playability.

    download here the game: http://pouet.net/prod.php?which=9466
