    Zeitgeist - 2D open world action adventure RPG



    Zeitgeist - A story fallowing a lonely tortured soul traveling the mystical and mysterious world of purgatory. You play Geist, a recently betrayed and murdered being with revenge on the mind, as you move forward you'll find endearing locations, other lost souls, and journal pages that give you a window into your past and who you were. In the end, will you redeem your mortal soul or receive eternal damnation as a fiery wraith.

    The game will be exploration and story based, but with giant sword wielding action too.

    Just a little update. Got most of the engine set up. Actors, sprites, scenes, layers, audio, physics, Tiled maps and collisions, part of a tileset.

    As custom as I can make it, it's based off of my html5 game engine Axis but coded in Scala. Checked out your blog, very interesting project you got going!

    Well I cheated and just accepted box2d lol, I already messed with making a physics engine once and I'm not looking forward to doing that again any time soon!
