    Ice Brawlers - SoftMotion3D

    Hey everyone,

Just opening up a thread for my Original Ice Brawlers game that was originally released 2013 over Blackberry and have now ported over to android tablets and obviously OUYA as well.
Any Feedback is great.... personally I think this game is currently more solid then the 3d version so I have actually started to re code IB3D.

For now enjoy my 1 day port over to Ouya and let me know of any bugs or craziness that happens so I can possibly fix it up.

    Is it local multiplayer only?

Anyway, looks interesting, and I'll definitely have to check it out next time I fire up my Ouya for gaming!

    yup its just local multiplayer....

I actually have network multiplayer coded into that game but it has some bad lag issues in my code so I never released it with the support.
now that was originally coded for two wireless wifi tablets so it may actually be ok over 2 ouya systems providing they were both plugged into a line instead of using wifi.
Im guessing it would be absolutely horrible over the internet.... so it remains disabled for now and possibly for good.

I agree -- I prefer this one over the 3D version, but I look forward to your new version of IB3D.

This is a super fun game.

    Thanks again.

I actually had the sprites drawn for fighting in this release too but never actually coded it in. Its been soo long since I looked at my old code that I may have trouble putting it in now.

I will save fighting for the 3d version to be updated later this year.

    Look forward to it.

Have you ever thought about using this engine for other sports titles?

This is actually the first sports title I have ever attempted in my life. Im thinking of doing a baseball and possibly a basketball game. But I want to see what I can do with my 3d tile engine showcased in the game MassConflict also available on ouya. (demo alpha) What sport game would you be interested in seeing made for ouya?

Football and basketball are my favorites. Baseball can be fun too.
