Welcome to the club. I went back to plugging in the laptop to the TV. I get kicked out numerous times too. Both spmc and xbmc. I might try loading xbmc it directly from the browser. I dont know if it'll make a difference, but worth a shot. Im hooked up via ethernet as well.
