I didn't even realize that they had firmware or any software of any kind in them. I thought they were pure hardware. After thinking about it that doesn't make sense though. I'm just so used to thinking of controllers as being hardware only. Anyway, should this work kind of like a model number to use to help order each iteration of the controller?

In past I've experienced really bad lag from downloading a whole bunch of games in a single session. But a quick reset usually solved that. As of today, the controller connects fine and there is no lag.
Gonna check mine right now!
They are them...we are us.
Been checking the battery level now and again over the last 2 days and I have to say one thing I love is how slowly the battery is being drained, the launch day batteries included lasted up until now and the current batteries in the controller are still rocking at a good pace even though they are not top end duracells or energizers.
Both mine are 0x0102 and I do get lag with it sometimes - if I play with my hands turns up so the pad is kinda facing inwards towards my body, or if I lie further away from the console and particularly when we pair more than two controllers to the OUYA.
One of my pads came with the Kickstarter and the other was one I ordered with the Kickstarter but didn't come until a month or two later and allegedly would therefore be one of the very slightly revised ones (wasn't there a thing that the bluetooth was meant to be slightly better or something? Less lag anyway).
Would like to be able to get it to 104 but not sure it would make any difference...
so any news on how to flash your controller firmware?
