Backstory: I don't have steady home internet connection anymore, so I used to take the system every so often over a friend's house to update the drivers, check out/purchase any new games, and be on my merry. I would occasionally have issues with it not detecting wireless, but once it was actually jacked into an ethernet port, that would go away with the update, and everything would be peachy.
That is until a couple months ago. Out of the blue, it goes into the initial startup sequence of asking me to sync the controler (but it is already sync'd, no prob, it detects it an moves on), then selecting language, then selecting an internet connection. Here's where the fun begins, because no matter if I choose wired or wireless, it will detect, and connect, but it says it "cannot establish connection to OUYA servers" and to either try again or connect the opposite way than I just tried. Neither works, so I am stuck here.
So, I try to go into recovery. Only when I press the keyboard keys to do so, the system freezes. It does nothing else. At all. So I can't get by the setup, and I can't back out to recovery. Is there something I'm missing or another tactic to try? Maybe with a phone data cable or something? I'm pretty much stuck, and any help would be appreciated.
