Hi all, I'd like to let you know about our first Ouya game that has just gone live, OC-TANE.

OC-TANE is a multiplayer racer / shooter, with support for up to 4 players, (and 8 player support coming soon). Created specifically to bring back fun and competitive aspects of old school racers that just don't seem to be around in many games these days. This is a 'bring your mates round' and get ridiculously competitive racing game that we have all had a huge amount of fun working on.

This is our first game release for OUYA, but we've focused on the multiplayer aspect as to us that's one of the key selling points of the console. But we would LOVE to hear your feedback and suggestions so we can help shape this into a better game. We've got big plans for all sorts of new game modes as well, so we will keep you updated on any new updates and news in here.






OC-TANE is a top down futuristic space racer. It features multiple ships, with a huge range of tracks, including obstacles, short cuts, portals, and is as much about timing and using the tracks features as it is about sheer speed. You can turn off the obstacles and pickups in the settings if you would rather play this as just a pure racer, but it's much more fun with them all left on!

We also have a wide range of pickups and power-ups to add to the mayhem, including:

Boosts, mines, EMPs, weapons, and much more.

Whilst there is already a huge range of tracks to choose from, the game also includes a level builder, allowing you to create your own tracks, place elements such as portals, bumpers and mines, and then play these with your friends as well.


In short this is a hugely fun and addictive game, and with 4 player with your friends it gets incredibly addictive trying to beat your friends, as well as getting your times up on the global scoreboards for the game. It's a little hard to see what is going on from the screenshots, as we have track backgrounds pulsing in time with the soundtrack, so we suggest you download it and give it a try!

It's a little hard to see what is going on from the screenshots, as we have track backgrounds pulsing in time with the soundtrack, so we suggest you download it and give it a try!

I keep trying and trying on this game but I just can't see anything. There's so much going on at high speed with everything looking the same that I can't even get past the first race. Sorry, but I think this is a game that overdid it on the visuals and the game is forgettable because of it. It's sad when when a person who beat F-Zero GX with all characters on master difficulty can't even play a racing game and it isn't my fault.
