[Take your pick] I agree though, most of the time Netflix is very watchable.

Unless I'm conflating watching Netflix on the Roku and watching it on the Ouya, which is entirely possible.
it was one of the first links that came up in a google search for "netflix apk" looks like its 3.1.1?

im not too sure guys. i only tried one show for a few min. maybe it was my internet connection i dunno. but i immediately loaded up netflix on my wii and it wasn't blocky at all and looked a lot crisper. it did run fine though. the menus were fast and it loaded right up and there wasn't any buffering. it was just the quality that was poor.

Everything I saw there said Android 4.3 gave full HD, aka 1080p. Didn't see anything saying that other versions of Android didn't get (or weren't already getting) 720p...or anything to suggest that other versions would or would not get it later. Not that I'm saying you're wrong, mind you...it could very well just be 480p on the Ouya and 720p on my Roku, and I'm mixing up the tiny boxes on my dresser/TV stand.

Anthony: Try it again? The Wii maxes out at 480p, and I've found it sometimes takes a little bit before the stream settles in and gives you good video. It should at least equal the Wii's video quality!

Yeah that's what I thought too. I'll try it again tomorrow.

In regards to the phrase "Full HD" They could mean that Android 4.3 and up are capable of 1080p. I know that some people refer to 720p as "just HD" with 1080p being "Full HD" I actually have a Wii and I could spend some time tomorrow checking out a movie or a show on both the OUYA and Wii and do a comparison.

Since I have temporarily cancelled my subscription, believe it or not there is nothing on it I want to see, I can not test it, but IncognitoMan tested it and posted in IRC that the best it ups to is 480p and that is observed in logcat.

    Cheers.
