I like the way the update integrates into the main menu. You don't have to have finished the first game. I still didn't finish the last three of the original.
Got the update. I bought the base game but I hoped to try at least one new level for free to see what's new.
I don't see the new content in the trailer or screenshots.

Ah, that's a fair point about the new content. I'll be sure to update the screenshots.
As for making some the content free, honestly if you enjoyed the base game this is a natural extension, there's a new mechanic but it's very much an expansion of the core game.
