    Mass Conflict - SoftMotion3D

After ingesting massive amounts of coffee... my second game has now arrived to OUYA!

    Developed using: AGK http://www.appgamekit.com

Mass Conflict - (C)2014 SoftMotion3D Written By Sheldon MacDonald
    VR 1.1.3 [Shooter / Platformer] 1 - 2 players
    https://www.ouya.tv/game/Mass-Conflict/

Help protect earth, by seeking out alien ships and destroying them to prevent a massive conflict.

Developer notes: Each level consists of a space dog fight, then an internal exploration of the mother ships in order to destroy them from the inside out.
This game is equipped with an Autosave feature and is only invoked after passing a second scene of that level. Two player mode can only be initiated at the start of scene 1 of a level and is a very small window of time for the player to enter in the game. Scene 1 of a level will respawn your character if you die. Scene 2 will not respawn your character and cause a restart of that scene if you have any men left.

This game has now been updated to have 9x2 levels

Any questions or comments are appreciated as this game is still in development and changes can easily be made.

    Thanks for playing!

Just been having a play of this, and it has loads of potential and expands on the same old side scrolling shooty shooty game. Love the fact you are in a ship then travelling about the space station....very cool idea.

It looks a bit bland visually on the surface, but playing it showcases some impressive lighting effects as your blast wind up lighting up the surface of the world. Sometimes, they'll show the way for a path, but they tend to just look pretty cool. The music is relaxing, and while the pace is a bit slow, it's a good game for people that like shooters - but lack the skill to play the really intense ones.

He mentioned it in the old thread, but this game was inspired by the often overlooked NES classic Air Fortress. Simple character graphics and atmospheric lighting were notable characteristics of that game, so those are very fitting features here.

Didn't realize you were using AGK
Good to see you actually put it out there, wasn't sure based on the conversation, if you were going to wait until it's done.
Demos are great for getting it out there, taking suggestions and all that stuff that helps craft a better experience.

@mgfanjay ...question about your recording.... did it hang up and restart? at the very beginning? I better look at that if that's the case. As for the toughness level... its suppose to start off easy and then get more challenging as the levels progress. I can make it hard from the start if that's what people want. Also as for the graphics....I know I can do better providing I spend more time at it. I will try not to rush this project and do a better job with the scenes.

Thanks for your constructive feedback and I hope to have a smoking game released in march....but again I will try not to rush my drawing as it will take more dedication to it to make it better.

FYI not only am I coding and drawing this game...I also wrote the music for it. In fact I even wrote the software that made the music. A Crazy Motivated Indie developer indeed I am!

I also wanted to point out that autofire is coming also so you will have the option of button mashing to shoot faster or at a slower steady pace by holding the button in.
New weapons will be coming as well as a bunch new enemies and levels.

More feedback the better! As its still a work in progress that can easily be modified.

edit: oh mgfanjay.... that's only the first level. have you beaten the demo? past level 3-2? if not you may not have seen the swarms of enemies pick up in levels 2 and 3. I however do agree that level 1 is fairly weak.

So I have the game finished.....but I currently do not have IAP support yet
This game will be updated probably in a few months with the full released version.

The game has a total of 9x2 levels to complete including 1 boss fight at the end of the game....
