Need help with sideloading Eternity Warriors 2 and Air Attack HD

I have seen a few posts that people have successfully sideloaded Eternity Warriors 2 and Air Attack HD. I have tried, but Eternity Warriors 2 doesn't even launch, and I have the "kill background process" thing turned off. Does this one require you to install and play it thru the Amazon App Store app? or is their something else I am missing? I am pretty sure it will need to download more game data on first launch, but it doesn't even launch or give an error?

Air Attack HD - installed and launched fine, but I cannot control it, the ship seems to always be flying to the right, I can force it to the left, but the soon as I let go, it auto flies back to the right, instead of remaining stationary? I can shoot and bomb, but the auto move to right thing is annoying. Anyone able to help with this? do I need a Moga or some other controller (I am using the Ouya controller).

I got Eternity Warriors 2 to launch by downloading it from the amazon app store. After downloading the data, however, the game launched me right into a level and - though the screen said to 'use the left stick to move' - no sticks or buttons worked. There were no obvious menus either and the touchpad did not work.

It's a bummer, because the music got me all fired up.

I'm having problems with Air Attack HD as well, except mine keeps crashing when it gets to the main menu. I tried loading it from the Nova launcher, but the same thing happens. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Maybe another launcher would do the trick? Or maybe I don't have something in the setting right?
