FYI, there is a great little app on the Ouya store called AutoPilot (search in Sandbox) which lets you choose any app to start up automatically. It's perfect if you're using your Ouya primarily as a media player. You can disable it by opening AutoPilot and pressing Y.

Does anyone use an mce remote on the ouya? I notice that my main ouya controller starts to act up when the mce remote is plugged in.

is there a way to add to favourites ie one channel also when i type in search is there a way i can use the pad on the left not the slidy middle thing

I have used gotham builds alpha4 & alpha5 with libstagefright. I've been able to enjoy DTS audio and great 1080p mkv playback on my content. However, about 30-40 min in everytime, any content, the content would just stop and when I try to resume it would just say "working" and then "working" would go away and nothing would happen. The only way to get the content going again is to fully shutdown my ouya and start up xbmc again. Anyone face this issue? My content is being streamed over an SMB connection. I don't have this problem on a normal media center with XBMC or with Plex. This is streaming over a wired connection, so I don't know if it's the Ouya or XBMC that's having issues. I know the Ouya has been known to drop network connectivity, but with Plex it seems to play fine, although I don't get DTS audio.

We should all be using libstagefright alpha 1. this is the most stable with video playback and XBMC functions. This is straight from the devs at XBMC.ORG. Also,

to enter text using a dPad, instead of the touchscreen, users can navigate to XBMC/SYSTEM/SYSTEM/Input Devices/ enable the option that refers to KEYBOARD PRESSES. once this is selected teh dPad will now be able to scroll through the text fields. Also, consider utilizing a third party remote.

@jamie666 (glad to see you hear as well ) you can add 1Channel to the Favorites in the same manner as any other XBMC system... utilize the context menu. When using the gaming controller press the SYNC/POWER?HOME button in the center of the remote.
