Ouya is something cool to buy AFTER possessing a "big three's console".
Ouya isn't good (nor strong) enough to compete with those companies.

Maybe in the future something will change, but... today we are NICHE.

About the first post, I think Gamestop can't judge, because they are involved in Gamestick.
I would agree with the other comparisons though they are a bit unfair however, Killing Floor Calamity does hold it's own with Dead Nation on ps3. Graphically dead nation is better but I could see many people preferring the gameplay of killing floor over dead nation. More games like that and Ouya could be a bigger player. Still, we definitely are niche now and for me it's part of Ouya's appeal.

3 Gamestops around me and none of them are carrying it. Then again I also have 2 targets and have been looking all holiday season but have yet to see one in stock. So either they are selling or Target didn't stock the stores in southwest Pennsylvania lol

Target here in NE PA either doesn't have it or out of stock. Didn't see signs or anything and the workers were useless.

    PA in the house.

    I'm in Buffalo.
    I bought mine at Target.
Saw it there a little while back.
2 weeks before Christmas I noticed the inventory going down and did some research.

When I bought mine a week before Christmas there were only a couple left.
I was actually worried they would be gone.

I haven't been back to the store since so I don't know what the display looks like now.

    Same for me

    p.s.
in the "SATURN" mall, here in Rome - Italy, I can see ONE Ouya exposed near PS3/X360/etcetera.
Not a "big show", BUT it's in.

The Targets I've been to all keep them on the bottom shelf below the (PSN/XBL/eShop/WoW/etc.) cards. There aren't any signs or anything obvious to look for.

The target by my house keeps them near the retro sega systems on the bottom shelf.

    Available at Targets in Chicagoland

About a week before Christmas I went to Target twice in the suburb where I live. I didn't purchase during the first visit. But, a week later, the same three were on the bottom shelf near the PC video games, so I picked one up. It has been a blast and a real hit with my son! GameStop probably just wants us to spend 5 times as much money on one of the new consoles.

That's where they make their money and then on reselling old games at like 500% markup.
Can't do any of that on Ouya
