MAME help

Hi all.

I was able to get the MAME emu working and to load the ROM of my favourite game of all time, Double Dragon, but I can't believe I'm stuck. I've messed around as much as possible and have "accidentally" loaded 2 credits into the game (not sure how I did, just randomly pressing buttons that I can't duplicate) but for the life of me I don't know how to START the game!! I feel totally stupid but I can't figure it out! Any help?

lol, wow, I am THAT dumb. I played around some more and finally figured out that I needed to press down on the analog joysticks! The left one adds coins, the right one starts the game and by pressing down on both it brings up the menu options within MAME to adjust the game as you'd like to use it. Sorry for the waste of band width! :-)
