Xbox 360 wireless USB dongle, does it work?

Since my two OUYA controllers causes massive lag I need to buy a dongle to hook up my wireless Xbox 360 controller to play Neon Shadow 2 player. I contacted support and they cannot recommend anything to buy so I'm asking you guys if you've had any success with this? I want to buy from Amazon UK as they have some of these, for example: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Generic-Wire...eless+receiver

According to this post, generic or authentic ones will work. It's the first controller on the Semi-working list. I don't have a dongle, so I can't give you any personal input.

I got mine the other day and it definitely does work (within the OUYA menus). I tried it in my own game (AquaVenture - coming soon folks) and while the d-pad and analogue stick worked, the buttons didn't. I'm going to have a look and see if I can sort it in code. I haven't tried other games though.

    I got mine from eBay for £4.79 - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3006969378...84.m1497.l2649

I actually use one when testing my app with 360 controllers and it works fine. The only buttons that don't come across 1-1 with the original controller are the analog triggers and that can be fixed by the developer with code.

    I ordered this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It works amazingly well. Cheap, delivered fast, and came with a cd which contained drivers for the PC. these are uneccesary for the OUYA/Android though. All my XBOX controllers pair fine to it. Not all games support the XBOX controllers, but I've found that many do. Any game in particular you are wanting to use the 360 controller with? I could check and see if it works for you. I might already know too.

    Cheers!

I wonder if this is equal: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Xbox-Wireles...ck+for+Windows

I mainly want to play Neon Shadow split screen.

I would say that it is most likely the same piece of equipment. I'm pretty sure they are made in some factory in China and then sent out to all the distributors. From what I've read they all seem to work. I hate to tell you to get it though, as you never really know. Check out the reviews people wrote, and go with your gut feeling. Keep in mind though, if people are complaining about the drivers being hard to find, remember that the OUYA won't need those drivers.

    Cheers!

P.S. I haven't tried my xbox controller on neon shadow, but the developer indicates that the 360 controller is supported. I'd say it works.

I just want to warn you that I purchased one of the generic ones from amazon and I have an awful time with it. It drops connection every few minutes on a good day this is both on the OUYA and PC. I am pretty sure I just got a bad device and should have returned it but it is to late now.

If you notice in the link you posted the device has microsoft written on the device, the other has XBox 360. Don't quote me but I could swear I read somewhere there is a difference between these like one is authentic and the other is the generic. I am at work now and don't remember what mine has on it.

The ones that has Xbox 360 written on it are the fake ones. They work without any drivers. However i do have an issue With the right analogstick always going to the left. This is not an issue on games were you dont use that stick but i cant play neon shadow. I have tried With an extra Controller and also buyed a New usb reciever but still no go
