I'm all for bringing the chatbox back if we can come up with rules that won't be 'ridiculous'.

I for one think that chat box bannings should have no influence on a members forum permissions (no matter how severe), and two I think that we need to be extremely lenient with what is discussed in the chat box. If someone says "jesus" or "that's in the bible", or "I can't take this shit" they shouldn't be banned.

As for the IRC channel war that seems to be going on. I personally have no issues with it. I just wanted all discussion to take place in one thread, in fear that people will begin posting links all over the place, and things would get spammy. I really never had the intention to ban the IRC channel from signatures, but the way I worded the rules DID in fact prevent it from being posted in signatures. Our mod team just enforced my rules.

I promise you guys one thing. We will either lift the ban of the IRC channel from signatures, or we will Re-open the chatbox here on this forum. Just give us some time, as we are all recovering from the Holidays and New Year.
