If you are the guy that popped up yesterday and then asked if anyone was there and then signed off, no one was there. Some of us leave our clients signed in all the time to keep a chat history so we know whats goin on. Try again at another time. The users in the room are very helpful. Im mhike|steve on that channel. No one there is using private chats so if you dont see any chatting going on, its a good bet that no one is available.

Cool there is an IRC page. Sucks it's populated by peeps that are 'high-browed' and/or non-responsive.

If it's a dev irc page (then lock it). Else if not, then actually 'speak' to new-comers'

P.S. - The ChanBot can keep the Chan open.. no need to promote your name by listing your name active 24/7 .. when your not actually there; let the bot do it.
-- if you want exposure for your name, then post or chat.. but don't "Lounge" in chat.. if your not there to chat (especially to new-comers, etc).

Go get you a Dev Chat room... stop frontin'.

Very well said, I for one would love to be on IRC 24/7 but my wife, child, work and sleep keep taking me away from it :-) We really do have an open door policy, even when we are not home.

Also the channel is not at all just for devs, while there are a few devs there, myself included, and many times we out number the gamers/users, devs are users too. We often use the same apps and services you do and love the interaction with other OUYA-minded folks.
