    How-to: Amazon AppStore

The Amazon App Store is a great addition to your Ouya and the best reason is simply because you don't have to root or worry about your google account and rerooting after every update. The next best reason is they give us 1 free app every day that once you download you own for good(tied to your amazon account) sometimes its games, sometimes its calculators, sometimes its screensavers. You just gotta see I know Riptide GP and Modern Combat have both been featured on there now.

    -Fire up your Ouya

    -Go to your web browser

    -Point it to http://www.amazon.com/gp/mas/get/android
    (Additional Link: http://goo.gl/2DYl1N)

    -Click Download

-After its done install it and

    -Go to Make

    -Open Appstore

-Use the touchpad to click username and password areas or to create an account if you don't have one.

There you have it, the first page shows some featured deals and games they are currently having and then a ton of recommendations based on what you've downloaded previously. All you gotta do is tap it and click download.

45mb download limit has been lifted in recent versions. If you would like a list of games that work with the ouya controller without rooting then look over at Negative's thread which can be found here:

    http://ouyaforum.com/showthread.php?...zon-Games-List

    Good luck and happy downloading!

After being around here for so long I forgot that we may have newer members who are unaware of this. Nice job man!

Excellent job, timmy, it worked like a charm. For any extremely literal readers stuck on the

    -After its done install it

line, just use FilePwn file manager from the discover store, go to /storage/sdcard0/Download and click on the AmazonApps apk. That's how I had to do it, anyway.

Here is a shorter URL for it: http://goo.gl/2DYl1N

@OP please add it to your post, easier to type into the OUYA.
