Hi everyone,
I finally finished porting my game Vertex Blaster to the Ouya, and published it this evening! It's a dual-stick shooter in the vein of games like Super Stardust HD and Geometry Wars - so if you like those games definitely give it a try!

Blast your way through a never-ending onslaught of relentless enemies in this addicting, action-packed arcade shooter!
• Earn points to upgrade your weapon and beat your high score in Arcade Mode!
• Vaporize asteroids to protect your colonies from destruction in Meteor Shower Mode!
• Distract enemies with decoy bombs and see how long you can last in Survival Mode!
• Use the Time Warp special power to help you collect ammo pellets in Scavenger Mode!

Dammit, I just turned off my OUYA, lol. I'll check this out tomorrow. Looks great.

it's great. ps3 pad compatible, too. I wish it moved a bit slower as the spaceship whizzes off at a right old rate. I suspect that this is for die-hards of thi type of game though and not for newbs like me. still a nice game.

Played survival mode, loved it, got some footage of it, and bought the full game. At a mere $2, it was a no-brainer. I might even do a little writeup for it later.

Thanks! Yeah, some of my very favorite arcade games are pretty unforgiving, so I suppose that's where that comes from.

I don't understand why it isn't working on my Ouya. I donloaded the game and it won't start and now two other games I downloaded don't work now either and they worked fine until I downloaded this game. Is anyone else having this issue?

Yeah I downloaded it but never had the chance to play it till yesterday. Noticed there was an update, updated it and it wouldn't start will test again to see if I can download it and it will start.

Do me a favor now download The Lost Souls and also Meltdown please and see if they will start up on your Ouya? I don't understand what is happening here as they both worked fine for me until this game crashed before even starting.

Hey guys,
Sorry you're having trouble starting it! I haven't run into that before, but I'm trying to reproduce it now. When I went to do that, my system started downloading an update (system update, not game update), so I'm hoping that didn't break something. I'll let you know if I find anything!
