As good as I think the 3d mariokart games are, I still love the flat tracks of the mode7 sprite based versions. There is just something pure about not having hills, it's just your kart and the flat race line.

I am also adding new things to the old too though to refresh it a little - with analogue steering, drifting, collection goals and achievements.

I think this looks awesome and high quality seeing as its from a small indie company...but I love Retro games so maybe I'm bias lol
