Well that nixes that.
With all the troubles you've described you may want to try do a factory reset on the Ouya.
Koying, Thanks for adding PS3 mapping into the OUYA SPMC keylayout. Your work has turned this box into a great little media center.
In the PS3 .kl file could you add a 'keyboard backspace' command?
The back button always acts as an escape key, and most often this returns to the XBMC home screen. An additional backspace key for a single back step would really improve the navigation.
Have you tried uninstalling Autopilot?

So here's my most recent interesting quandary and maybe it's happened to someone else who can help. Sometimes when streaming HD with 5.1 sound in an add-on, there's no voice track. All the other sound is there but voices. I have to re-boot and try again. I can try others with 5.1 audio and won't work unless I re-boot. I can try the exact same stream from the same source after re-booting and sometimes will get the correct audio with voice track. Doesn't seem to ever happen in 2.0 audio output.
I haven't, but the other guy who had a similar problem (I'm replying on my phone so I can't see his name) said he exited from the emulator into SPMC, so it seems like it shouldn't be related to Autopilot. It also seems unlikely that one app (Autopilot) should be able to affect another app's (SPMC) settings without superuser permissions.
Hello,
For several days I have Ouya. I bought Ouya with I think about using as a media center.
Unfortunately, so far I've been able get surround sound.
I installed SPMC, which I read on the forums that should let surround sound to the receiver. Unfortunately SPMC hangs when you try to run every HD movie. This can be seen in the video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9OBaco1YAdQ
I installed SPMC many times, reboot console many times, I restored it to factory settings, cleaned data SPMC, unfortunately it did not work. In the settings for audio unchecked all the dots, and set 7.1 and HDMI - still OUYA hangs. :-(
I read all the posts in this thread and not found an answer how to deal with this problem.
What else can I do to SPMC work properly and I could I get surround sound?
A video showing your audio settings in spmc may help.
Speaker setup should be set to 5.1
My speakers system is 7.1, and that is why I set 7.1 in the setup.
I tried also setting 5.1 but it did not change. SPMC still hangs.
You must have missed post 157 of this thread then...
Are you certain the audio is what's causing it to crash?
