I use 2x PS3 Pads, A Logitech wireless gamepad, a wired keyboard and rarely the Ouya controller as I got one of the ones that sucked, not sure i'll buy another one...

I use the official Ouya controller. When I get a player 2 that person uses an old sixaxis controller I've got laying around.

I'm going to go a bit off topic here, but your OUYA controller is clearly malfunctioning if it won't sync a meter away from the console.
Did you contact OUYA inc. for replacement?

I still have devkit OUYA controllers, so my thumbs sometimes slip off the sticks (they have no grip/textured surface). Depends on the game as well, and whether it supports PS3 or 360 controllers. Most of the time it's OUYA controller as default, or whatever takes my fancy

No. My ouya was refunded due to the late shipping fisasco. I also have no faith in the Ouya company, i found my own solution in using a Ps3 pad. I'm just using the system until a better alternative presents itself, like the rumored Google Android console.

PS3 pad for me unless its not supported. OUYA pad is sloppy wonky mess in comparison to the PS3 in every area imho.

I don't mind using the analog sticks of the OUYA pad, but the buttons are mushy, and the DPad is so inaccurate its almost always unusable.

I use the base Ouya controller and occasionally a PS3 controller.

The Ouya controller that came with my system is quite good, so I've never used anything else (not counting a wireless keyboard).
