My PS3 controller seems to work fine, however, when I try to shoot, I just hear 'reloading' sounds. (I haven't tried the Ouya controller yet.) Anyone else have this issue?

Edit: Not sure if it is just me or not, but I'm having issues with my triggers with (what appears) to be multiple 'presses.' If I use the shotgun, sometimes when I pull the trigger, I get only 1 shot and the gun changes back to the smg, OR... sometimes it won't fire at all, but change right back to the smg, even when I have plenty of ammo. I also noticed this in the menus, when you are trying to toggle between 'store, mission, skills, etc', it appears that the trigger pulls are registering two to three inputs on a single press. This is on a Ouya controller. Anyone else experience this?

Edit: I figured it out. Because it wouldn't work with my PS3 controller properly, I fired up the Ouay one. The Ouya controller was in 'slot 2' for controller assignments, which was causing all of the problems I had with the triggers not working. Rebooted, paired only the Ouya controller, and then it appears to be playing fine.

Been wanting to try this game but it refuses to load. I got it to load ONCE last night but didn't have time to play it. Otherwise it just crashes immediately back to the Play screen or the home screen. Any ideas? I'm rooted, with newest OTA update. Crashes whether I'm overclocked or not either. It is weird that I got it to run once though. That was after removing it, restarting, and installing it again. But after boot up this morning it went back to crashing.

Gameplay reminds me of the isometric Shadowgun (or gears of war) and visuals and "story" remind me of the Neon shadow.
It's a nice mix, cool game and sountrack too.
BTW I thought "turn ouya on the side" tip was awkward.

    AW: Meltdown - Phenomenon Games

I have the same problem. Game won't start at all. I'm on an OUYA that's completely original and has the newest update. I shut it down and rebooted once (no effect) and reinstalled the game (no effect).

Too bad! Was looking forward to this. It's the only game I ever had this problem with, too, so I assume something's not quite right, yet.

I had this issue, found the fix:

Go to System > Advanced >Apps (or however that works) in the Ouya launcher, and go clear the cache. It seems to work after that.

I cleared Data and cache for good measure, lost my save stuff but whatever, it was quick to level back up. But clearing cache should work alone.. if not, try both.

Ah, that explains it; I was seeing the same problem. I also had difficulty navigating in the post-mission upgrade screen (sometimes I couldn't move from one thing to the next); did you see that too? Did the reboot help there?

The controller support problems, coupled with the apparent reliance on "pay-to-win", is why I didn't buy. Maybe if they release a new version with PS3 controller support I'll reevaluate it. It looks pretty nice and gameplay itself is mostly pretty solid.

Can you try and see what applications you have running and quitting some of them? I'm curious of the results, not many users have this problem.
