The android version is a Pay-to-win model.. so they made it extra hard to get people to pay for experience and such this is not a thing for the OUYA version, paying for experience and such is optional

Cheers, I figured that. as the guy said thoiugh, he believed that the game should not really be pay to play.

Anyway, there were some things that I forgot to mention or wasn't clear about:

1/ I wanted the robot enemy skins to be custom skins or armour for the players. I wasnt suggesting that they were enemies controlled by us.
2/ I wanted colour choices for single player. I understand multiplayer. However for multiplayer, why not have all the other people as one colour, allowing us to be the colour we choose OR allow for loads of colours and/or combos with the armour (like with borderlands)?
3/ The loot system doesnt have to affect in game action. If the chip system was the way to go, or even the armour upgrades, players could "win" these items for fiddling around with after each game in the menu, just like they usually do right now. I would play more knowing that there are rare items and upgrades to be found if I had to play certain ways, bosses etc...
4/ I forgot to ask if a cloud save/load function would be available for us to pick up where we left off from another machine (so I can play at home on my Ouya and pick up my same character and stats etc on my android version).

My game has a problem, it does not start.

When I ask for it to start, it returns to the menu screen. Have moved it from internal memory to the external, and otherwise, and as I like the game, I even thought about doing factory reset to try to solve the problem.

    My doubts are:

1 - I will lose my data and what I've already bought the game?
2 - is there any other solution for it?

    br? br? hue hue hue...

All of the save data is saved both locally and remotely, so I don't think you need to worry too much about that
try clearing the cache in the OUYA launcher, the problem may be the controller is registering input on start which can crash the app. It is a problem with the Game Engine (Unity) and has happened with numerous other games as well.

Some friends have reported the same problem. How do I clear the cache?

    Thanks for the help.

you can clear cache of the Launcher by going to Manage > System > Advanced > Apps > ALL > Ouya Launcher.

Selecting that gives a button to clear cache.

I think the Android version just got the Boss and/or skins update! Come onnnnnnnnn...Ouya!

Anyway, is anyone playing this on Android? I haven't been able to get the game's button mapping option to work with the MOga Pro in HID mode. It works fine in Moga mode but I like HID mode myself as other games support it.

When I go to the mapping screen, when I touch the button to map via the touch screem it maps THAT as the input, rather than asking me next to "press button to mapp", like it does in the Ouya version.

    Anyone else?

    Thanks for the help.

In the end, who was creating problems was the "Custom Launcher" that was installed a long time. I decided to uninstall and the problem is gone.

  10. #210

Update is live. It adds 3 new boss battles and fixes/tweaks, it should remove the crash on start bugs.

Since some people on this forum have asked, here is a teaser of what the next update (coming next month) will add:
