Can I update the system via USB stick?

Hi guys, I dont know why but my Ouya cant update via OTA. It shows network error. So I want to know if I can dowload update file and save it into USB stick and plug it into Ouya for updating.

    Please help

10$ says it'll be faster just to try it.

Exceptional, that's a pretty unhelpful, *ahem* unexceptional response. He's asking if the update file is available anywhere online. He can't "try it" without that. I'd like to know too.

I think I remember seeing someone with a link to a firmware update.

Does anyone know where the firmware update can be downloaded? The Ouya's servers and/or wi-fi are abysmal, and it is an ordeal to update. I'm still on the faulty _r1 update because I can't get the new one to actually go through properly.

The first link gives me a 500 site error. Not working.

By root storage, do you mean the system has to be rooted? If not, where exactly would it go? I assume a program like FilePwn would help with that?

I don't understand the steps in the link.

.. ah .. yes .. the site is not accessible right now .. this is the direct link for firmware .. root folder of internal storage .. turn off ouya .. plug in usb keyboard .. turn on ouya .. and follow the step to enter recovery mode ..

Thanks, Realz. But that links to the bugged firmware I'm trying to get rid of. There's a newer update now.

Are you sure thats the bugged firmware? That is the version mine is at after the bug fix. Unless they didn't increase the build number.
