For many games this may not be an issue but with a shmup that has the player steer precisely but quickly around bullets, it is bad.

I know that this is not a new issue, but I suppose it would be something to take into account 'from the start' if Ouya 2 happens.

P.S. (Dear Santa) I also think the d-pad is better positioned where the left thumbstick currently resides (as seen on PS3 controllers) .
I find PS3 controllers utterly un-handleable So having the OUYA controller more like the PS3 in terms of positioning would completely kill it for me lol

I've said more than once that it would be cool to have two different models, the current one plus a "model B" with PS3 like layout.
Most of the time I keep my OUYA offline: please consider it before inserting a phone-home/always online DRM in your game. If you still plan to do so, please declare it. You don't want pirates, I don't want to be frauded.

    ouya 2 ideas

MY ideas for the ouya 2 are pretty cool (in my opinion)
I think they should offer more than one model.
One with more storage, one with less.
Maybe make it white, or possibly a gold color? Maybe red?
I also feel like they should up the support for games like gta SA, because its impossible to play the Google play versions with a second gen controller half of the time.. So they should just bring back the same controller hardware used in g1..
I would also like to see something like the connect happen. I feel like that would be a great idea.
Also i think that t3 is a BIG nono in my opinion... They should definitely update that so we could run better roms/isos on the ouya.

What are YOUR ideas for the Ouya 2?

So , after the NVidia Shield release, and talks of Ouya 2 being worked on http://ouyaforum.com/showthread.php?...sition-at-Ouya. Getting back to the OPs question - What does everyone think an Ouya 2 should have and what price range?

I would like to see them deliver an Ouya 2 with these specs:

Ouya UI based on Android 5.0 Lollipop
NVIDIA Tegra K1 - 64 bit dual core
    32 GB storage
    3 GB memory
    MicroSD-XC slot
    802.11ac 2x2 MIMO 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi
    Bluetooth 4.1/BLE
    2 x USB 3.0
    1 x microUSB 2.0
    1 x Gigabit Ethernet
    1 x HDMI 2.0
Controller to be WiFi based and low latency

Price , well seeing since the Shield is $199, this sort of limits the range for me. $99 - $149 tops. Although at $149 I'd be swaying to the Shield

I definitely agree to 32 GB of storage and maybe more.

That is the most expensive chip in the box, doubt it will be higher. Not even sure it would be 32GB. Doubt the dual core too but that's me.

I'm just going to edit your post. This is not all the things I have in mind, but it will do for now.

Ouya UI based on something that doesn't look too Android related
NVIDIA Tegra K1 - 64 bit dual core
    16 GB storage
    2 GB memory
    MicroSD-XC slot
    802.11ac 2x2 MIMO 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi
    Bluetooth 4.1/BLE
    1 x USB 3.0
    1 x USB 2.0
    1 x microUSB 2.0
    1 x Gigabit Ethernet
    1 x HDMI 2.0
Controller to be WiFi based and low latency

...and don't forget all the codecs and such for media. I don't care about media but a lot do and if this thing can be a one stop shop kind of thing then you may convert some others.

Agreed, OUYA needs to have a system similar to that of the RPi where licenses to use a hardware decoder can be purchased and used.
