I thought for sure I had seen a thread on this somewhere, but I can't seem to find it for the life of me. (I used the search several times as well.) So, if there is another thread about this, then I apologize. If there isn't, then I didn't know if it went HERE or in the general discussion.... so... if I broke some rule(s), I'm sure I'll get the standard verbal warning and 50 flogs with a wet noodle.

I just wanted to say that I got a hold of this two nights ago. I didn't really know what to expect. The retro look wasn't a huge sell for me (never is), but I figured I'd give it a try since it said something about using archery. I'm enjoying this... A LOT. The premise behind it is pretty simple, but it offers enough challenge that it keeps me coming back for more. I do like that that they have made it easy to keep going in the game, no matter how many times you may die. I'm not sure what it is... but there is something here that keeps me coming back for more.

I love this game, can't believe it's free. Even though the art is simplistic and retro, the style is beautiful.
Story bits are nice and gameplay really shines.
I wrote to the dev about the analog stick deadzone issue that this game has currently and they responded that they'll look into it.
This game gives me that sort of sad feeling reminiscent of Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. The gameplay is great, and I am thankful for the forgiving continue system since I am such a bad shot with the bow. The pixelization, which I didn't like at first, can be forgiven with such beautiful scenery.
And for once, the complainers about ports costing more on Discover than Google Play have nothing to whine about: it's still $0.99 over there.
I really like this game too. I dled yesterday and ended up playing for a lot longer than I had planned. Beautiful game.

I got stuck playing this for about 45 minutes last night and had the same reaction as everyone else here. It reminds me of "Don't Look Back" in the sense that the presentation is very minimalistic but effective. I'm really enjoying the Ouya these days.
Loved the game, quite glad that the in game achievements are actually worth getting too considering they're linked to unlockable items. Wonder what'll happen if you get them all?
Very much agree with this, it's really odd how such a basic style can add a surprising amount of depth to characters and their environments. Suppose we just find it easier to identify ourselves as the player character when we're left to fill in the blanks with our own imagination.Originally Posted by Dan Fu

I love the art in these screenshots! I downloaded the game but haven't given it a shot yet. What type of game is it, just aim and shoot? Platformer?
I need to find someone who makes videogame art like this and frame it up on my wall.
The bow action is like angry birds, if the birds were on a galloping horse. But it's the atmosphere that really grabbed my attention.
