Thread: Voting System

Personally, I see everything related to numbers retarded and it only brings competition. It makes people believe that they're in a higher position than someone because of those numbers. I've seen people before mention their reputation and post count like it's something to be proud of, like if it proves that they're the most helpful person in a website when it's not true. What one person can do with 10 posts and 5 rep bars, another can do with 3 and no reputation at all. Reputation isn't necessary to help someone and it shouldn't be that thing that motivates someone to help either. Helping needs to come from the heart and one shouldn't expect something in return when he or she does it.

I've also seen people in here complaining a few times because of people down-voting them for no reason. I think the whole thing should be ripped off. It's dumb, honestly. If you like something that someone posts, then do what this guy said.

People still do that here, even after giving people an up-vote.
