    It might be a good idea to force the user through a "don't touch your joy sticks while we calibrate your controller" menu on the first run, and then allow them to go in and configure it after the fact. I don't think most people would think to go into the menu to fix deadzone issues if they aren't sure why their characters are running around on their own. I think your average user would just assume the game is broken, or their controller is broken.

    Yeah I know I never would have adjusted them. I never do. I like to play the game the way the dev wanted it to feel/be played. But I will make sure to adjust it when I download.
