I don't expect any changes aside from the color, and the storage size. When it gets here, I will open it up and compare it to my release OUYA and take pictures for everyone. I would imagine the controller will be the new design. I can't imagine them using the old problem hardware in a new style controller. If there is a visual way to tell by opening it I could open it and take pictures too.

I would think a good way to tell would be to check the firmware version of the remote in the advanced/bluetooth settings area.

I'll be pre ordering this one for sure. I've been looking to buy an Ouya since late August, but never really liked the silvery/black look. This white one looks very clean and of course I like the color so it fits the bill

Already contacted BDG. He doesn't have the material to make a white case. I also contacted the University of Richmond to inquire about their 3D printer policy AND OUYA Inc to see if there was any chance, even a slim one that I could buy a shell. Unless I'm missing something, I think that's all avenues for now.

OUYA could probably make a decent amount of money from custom color pieces for the OUYA. Order different colors, mix n match pieces. Controller faces, pretty much every part in different colors.

Holy crap. That is how the OUYA should look by default. Looks great!

It would look great in all black finish, too.
