Just use an emulator. No need for the remake.

Just use a Genesis and the cart. All of mine still work. No need for an emulator. I looked it up and think the remake looks interesting.

I don't know how well Kainy works because I think it only works with Windows but it is suppose to stream PC games to your OUYA. You could test that out.
