I use cheap rechargeables that only last a couple weeks. But it's odd that the battery on the right side is often the only one that needs changing. I have a battery tester and always test them when they're discharged and sure enough the left side most of the time shows good while the right shows discharged. Another Ouyian curiosity.

Had mine since August and still using the supplied batteries, spend 1-2 hours a night on it too.

My controller doesn't need batteries. In fact, it charges by usb cable attached to the console.

Mine lasted a good two plus months until it started flashing. These were the batteries that it came with.

I got my Ouya a couple days before July and my second Ouya about a month or so later. I have only made 1 batterry change on 1 controller so far (I have 3). I use one of my Ouyas every day. So pretty hapoy about battery life.
