Abduction Action! is now available on your Ouya. As a UFO pilot in training, you have been tasked with the overwhelming mission of invading Earth, terrorizing the locals, and returning home in one piece. Use your tractor beam to abduct helpless Earthlings and defeat aggressive foes. It will take all your skills, wits, and intellect to prove your alien worth and triumph over humanity.

This is a port of our XBLIG release with all new graphics. The game features 5 levels, normal and score attack modes, and a healthy dose of humor. The first two levels are open initially and the rest of the game can be unlocked for $1.99.

Question - Any chance you can add an option to lower the volume of the UFO tractor beam or something? It drowns everything else out for me.

You can turn that sound off in the options menu.

Yep, there is an ON/OFF option for just that sound in the Options. That would be your best option for right now.

I'll take a close look at the sound and see what I think, either tone it down for an update or maybe add more levels than just ON/OFF in the options.

This is a fun game. The only bug I've found so far is during the tutorial. If you hold the tractor beam on and then the Alien Commander message box comes up, the sound of the beam continues to play.

I found it a bit awkward that "A" is used to close the messages, as "O" is pretty much the default go-to button on the OUYA. I kept instinctively pressing "O".

There are couple things in the tutorial that bugged me:

2nd box: seasoned gamers know what HUD means, but others may not. Perhaps write out Heads Up Display.

3rd box:
"Helpless life forms will be taken aboard your UFO for experimentation and possible mutilation." -- This line should be moved up into the 2nd paragraph. It directly relates with the usage of the tractor beam and not the info in the 3rd paragraph which discusses dropping things.

"Some objects will beak and life forms will die if dropped from high enough" -- If dropped from high enough, some objects will break and all life forms will die.

5th box: Perhaps mention here that the number of flash bombs remaining will also be displayed on the HUD.

6th box: "tasks that will most certainly get you killed and force me to comfort your sister for both hours she'll mourn your dead green hide." -- tasks that will most certainly get you killed, and force me to comfort your sister during both of the hours she'll mourn your dead green hide.
