Remember when the OUYA was first announced they had this silver-ish clean looking launcher? Anyone know how I can change to it? I really like how clean the beta launcher compared to the orange ish looking one we have today.

I just want Samurai II Vengeance on my OUYA
Yeah, we remember. The majority actually likes this better than the official launcher we got. Despite being a mock-up, it looks a lot more practical and professional.
You can't change it without rebuilding it from scratch which nobody has done, nor has an interest in doing. You can use other launchers made by people such as InvaderGames' custom launcher and Frank Bouwens custom launcher.Anyone know how I can change to it?

Looks basically the same to me, just not orange.
Not sure why they don't just let you set what color you like, unless they're trying to form some strong association between OUYA and Home Depot...I mean...the color orange.
Explain to me how exactly it is the same. I'm seeing a digital clock, the date, number of games on Ouya that are present (or are coming soon), a private messaging system and a bunch of other stuff. The font is also smaller and it scrolls up as you go down. The thumbnails are also more organized. This launcher and the current one look different to me.
I believe this is what you are looking for. I use this and it works really well! http://ouyaforum.com/showthread.php?...-OUYA-Launcher
I must admit I'm really really not a fan of the Orange and Purple colour scheme, though not enough to change to a 3rd party launcher
the lancher depicted is actually just a graphic mockup. it was never actually realized.
Exactly.. It was just a quick mockup made for kickstarter, I think they realized how difficult it was to make that on the real hardware after the funding was sucessful, and tbh, the vertical displacement of the menues was VERY disfunctional when I tried to replicate it on my launcher.. I think the first versions are still available at my site with that same layout..
