Hello fellow Ouya fans!

Mark from Disintegration Games here, just stopping by to let you know that we're working on an all new version of Rionon: The Search for the Stone Statue for our beloved console. While this is currently fluid, Rionon is scheduled to be out in early 2014.




What if the most important thing you've ever done kept you from the most important thing you could ever do?

Rionon is a nation of peace, with a tension simmering just under the surface. There are the haves, and the have nots, and you, Joshua, are most decidedly a "have not."



Until that fateful day when the nation's most precious relic, the Stone Statue, is stolen from the temple. A rogue cult, Pax Christi is suspected of the theft, but how will you even find them? And will the promised reward be enough to allow you to escape your lowly station, and rub elbows with the rich and powerful in the gilded halls of Rionon's capital, Urusalim?



Or are you willing to give that all up, and help a poor old woman find her missing husband? Will those who oppose you die at the end of the sword, or will mercy rule your heart as you try to piece together the interwoven mysteries?

Inspired by the Biblical book of Acts, Rionon is an open world action rpg full of intrigue, mystery, and exploration where your decisions have far reaching consequences not only for you, but for your loved ones and country as well. Do you take the path of least resistance, of love, adulation, fame and power, or do you break everyone's heart for the chance to save one life? The decision is yours, in 2014!

Thanks for the feedback guys. Encouraged that someone is interested in Rionon!

Quick update, since I know as a gamer I hate when I hear about a game I'm interested in, and then... silence.

Progress on Rionon is going well. Inventory is complete, and three of the bosses are mapped / animated / and have their battles coded.

Inventory system is complete.

Weapons system is complete.

Towns are all "macro mapped." Micro mapping will commence soon, God willing.

Money system is complete.

Hunger / Thirst system is 95% complete, just need to add notifications so character doesn't starve to death without visual warning.

Major battle animations are done.

Story is complete, just need to code it into the game

Thanks Dan! At this time I don't think it'd be fair to give too close a guesstimate, and then miss it. The prayer is that we'll be in beta late this year, [EDIT: wait, it IS late this year. So let me add: later next month] but that's really, really fluid.
