I'm considering making another launcher add on (I made the Spotify one in the 1st post) this time for root explorer, is this something people would be interested in? Also thinking about making one for the ouya launcher (if you set xbmc as your launcher you might want easy access to the original launcher?)

If anyone's interested in this I'll make em and post em here

Don't know what I've done. Xbmc is now so slow.

Tried everything. Even factory reset and clean install of xbmc with just a single add on. Just selecting a movie takes minutes now rather than seconds. Tried all versions of xbmc including latest nightly.

Tried xbmc on my phone and no such issues.

Looks like ouya will be getting relegated to the bedroom :-(

Well. Since our systems are not connected in any way, your slowness will have nothing to do with ours.

I can say that my system will slow when my wd "my cloud" external is backing itself up at the beginning of the month.

Also, barring hardware malfunction, only a breakdown in your nas or a software update can change things.

Would it be possible for you to add the ability to shut down and restart the ouya from xbmc? I know that SPMC has those features (they do require root though), it really would make using xbmc as launcher an even better experience

I would be interested in the Ouya Launcher. Not really sure what root explorer is.

Here's the xbmc add-on for the Ouya launcher: https://github.com/hessius/XBMC-OUYA...ive/master.zip

If you run into trouble please report it on the github page: https://github.com/hessius/XBMC-OUYA-Android-Launcher

Root explorer lets you explore the root of your ouya with read and write permission.

This is an awesome idea/app! I love using XBMC as my launcher however I always experience a bug or two with the nightlies. Do you think it would be possible to add launcher support to the slightly more stable 12.3.2 (or 12.4) XBMC on OUYA build?

Edit: Also one of the main issues I'm having with the nightlies is "Dependencies not met" installing certain add-ons and skins. They work fine with SPMC and XBMC for OUYA. The main ones in question are Hulu And ESPN from BlueCop's repo. I'm guessing it's incompatibility with Gotham so there may be nothing i can do, but any suggestions?

This is just a long-time Ouya fan giving props for this app. I love the Gotham Launcher, and use it as my primary media center. Your work is great, and I am thankful for the ability to have all of my media in one place. I use the Transparency! skin and have a link on the main page to "games" that loads Nostalgia and has ALL of my emulators. It works flawlessly, and I applaud your hard work!

    Hi!
Gotham is supposed to have the option of "Use limited color range (16-235)" see http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Settings/System

I can't find this option in this version of XBMC, has anyone else noticed this? Is there any way of achieving this (or something similar) to reduce the darkness of videos?

Thanks for the Gotham launcher Eldon.
Coming from spmc (which is great also), having Xbmc as my launcher is perfect.
Gotham is running smooth and a lot of addons are working now, I decided it was time to go with Gotham Xbmc.

There is one option that was in spmc for rooted machines, and it was to reboot/power down in Xbmc power options.
Is there anyway those could be added to your Gotham launcher at some point?
