Congratulations on being you, Neon Shadow Developers. This will be one of(if not the most) fun game(s)you can play on OUYA.
Hey Jason.
Tasty Death was me... and we had to shut down our network here to reboot the router, so I must have lost connection. Shotgun up close is pretty much insta-death for any unlucky sod to be that close. (Very gratifying!) Plasma Rifle does have a bit of that spray and pray feel but also has it's uses. Most of these weapons shine depending on which map you are in. (The BFG is not that great near walls or small rooms... just saying...)
There are plans for expansions but the first hurdle was getting it out and into your hands.
Thinking we should maybe have a spot (blog) with suggestions, since there are so many good ideas and no way to sort them all out just yet.
Steve.

I thought Tasty Death might of been you Steve when i noticed you were just roaming around the map at first. I kept trying to chase you down with grenades ,and i was like "why isn't this dude fighting back! then i thought hmm i wonder if thats steve just testing the level considering tasty in the name.
So everytime i went against you i kept thinking how much you were probably laughing at my lack of skills if it was you lol...so since it was you i'm sure you had a good chuckle then.
I think it was in that match with you that i accidentally suicided myself

Btw, don't contact Josh (dev?) via the Google play store's contact email for this game. For whatever reason, you have to contact Tasty Poison themselves via their website.
I couldn't get the captcha to render via the mobile site so I'm not sure if my message got through to them (the site said it did), so I'm going to ring them now.
Josh is from Crescent Moon which is the publisher for Tasty's Google Play/iOS developed ports of their games. Everything Tasty does on Ouya is self published

Yes. I just rang Tasty Poison and they confirmed that. They also confirmed that they got my message that I posted at their site (even though the captcha didn't register).
They said a few things that were interesting. Please don't take what I write below as compete quotes as it's only fair that they officially state these themselves. Anyway:
- the graphics settings were set, as is, in order to reduce latency during (online? ) multiplayer. They might look into changing the graphics settings for single player. No promises though.
- they are aware of the ps3 controller problems and are looking into fixing it.
- they told me that their other two games for ouya are ps3 controller compatible.
- this game should be compatible with ouya, ps3, Red Samurai (?), moga and xbox 360 controllers.
Hope this helps and please correct me if I'm wrong.

i can't confirm PS3 controller compat since even though i have one paired to my Ouya i don't use it on my Ouya as too many of the games i have don't support it ,or don't support it well. So as much as i hate the Dpad on the Ouya controller i play everything with a stock controller.

This is awesome!
Something I have to ask regarding level design.
Is it a conscious decision to keep all the levels in the same vertical height?
I can see how it simplifies controls when you don't have to aim up or down as much.
But it would be interesting to see slopes, stairs and more vertical areas.
