Hmm, been on the store a couple of days and nobody has mentioned it, so here's a thread. Why nobody has mentioned it is beyond me. Star Control II for the Ouya remastered in High Definition, what's not to like? A Bonafide classic in it's day and one Hell of a game. Looks to be a freebie to bott, so come all, play one of the greatest space startegy games of all time. Could be worse, you could be paying upwards of $100.00 for the 3DO version, after all.

Star Control 2 is one of THE great games and has eaten up hours of my life in the past, look forward to revisiting this one for sure. The only gripe is that such a huge download (well, huge by OUYA standards, it's close to 1 gig) is going to take up a not inconsiderable chunk of storage. Just as well external storage is on the way, I'm having to make some tough game decisions lately.

I saw this on there and was ready to download...then I saw the nearly 1GB download and my heart sunk. This is one I can't possibly download until USB storage goes live. I'm guessing I'm not the only one in that boat, so that might be why no one is talking about it.

I tried downloading the game a few nights ago and it froze up; I'll try to download it again tonight.
Having said that, I no nothing of this game or of Star Control 2; anyone wanna sum up what the game is all about?
I haven't played it yet. I'll probably do that later today. Can't skip freebies. This is what reminds me of Metroid.

Staff(for the most part) contacts developers so that they can come on OUYAForum to create their own threads. The reason for this is that they're the original poster of the thread which means they can update the first post at will for any updates, or other things related to their project. However, after a few days has passed like in this instance then it's fair game for any member of OUYAForum to create the thread themselves in their place. If later on the real developer comes on and request ownership of a thread created by another member, or creates a new thread then things have to accommodate to their needs.
As for you... The hell you talkin' about man? I haven't seen you in like a week so of course you haven't seen anybody talk about the game
On a on-topic note. I think the game looks interesting and while I don't know what you guys are getting from this(Star Control 2 thingy). It at least seems like something that would garner a lot of interest and satisfied players.

Ur Quan Masters is a 3DO remake of Star Control 2 from the trilogy originally developed for MS DOS. They renamed it Ur Quan Masters when they ported it to the 3DO
