OUYA USB storage Beta Trials

I got an invite earlier today, but after I got home my Ouya didn't seem to update even after I restarted it. When I downloaded a new game I didn't get the option to choose external storage-- is there some definite way I can tell whether I'm in beta?

My email said "We’ll be setting you up to automatically receive the build as a system update, so check your OUYA shortly to grab it."

The only other thing I can think of is they may not have set up my system to receive the update yet-- though I did get that email nearly 5 hours ago...
