One problem I keep having since the upgrade is that now when I use the left joystick, it keeps going into a volume control. It ends up blocking the bottom of the screen and makes it hard to play. Not sure how I can get rid of this so that I can play without this screen coming up constantly. Otherwise, I love the program.

@seleuco, I've updated Mame4Droid to the last version, but I still have overscan problems. It seems to have diminished slightly, but significant parts of the image are still not being shown Has this version the overscan fixes?

Have you enabled overscan checkbox on mame4droid options? If yes, I'm currently doing a 10 % amount of overscan correction. This is huge and for example is like desktop consoles do... Xbox 360, ps3. You should have a problem with your TV set then...

It seems you have bindings mame master volume to left joystick. To get back to defaults go to cfg directory besides rom folder and delete it...

@seleuco, you were right, I hadn't seen that new option in the options menu, now the games looks great! Now only if you just could apply the overscan compensation also to the options menu it would be great

have you checked to see if your TV is able to correct the overscan (not always called overscan in the TV settings), many times its just a misconfigured TV.

Yeah, I've checked that before but my TV doesn't have something like that, it's too old I guess Anyway, similar Ouya apps show its options correctly so it must be a problem of no overscan compensation being applied to the menus, as the games look fine now.

Messed around with the newest version today. Controllers work after they fall asleep and wake up now, and the new over scan option makes this pretty much perfect! Amazing job David!

Yes, the majority of 2d games from the late 70s to a few in the 2000s work, you need to find the correct romset.

Still having problems with a shed load of games, including the two above ^

I even downloaded the 'Mame-0.37b11' romset from www.theoldcomputer.com (members only sorry!) and it works fine on mame4all but not MAME4droid (0.139u1)... does anybody have any suggestion why this is happening or a recommendation to where to get at least 'shinobi' 'snow brothers' from??
