Here's the entire article... Small, but news anyways. Origin is here.
Guess we'll be seeing more James Andrew Coote's around here and I'm not about to complain about thatNewsbrief: As Ouya looks to expand its market reach in the run-up to the holiday season, the microconsole manufacturer today said that it will launch the hardware in more stores across Europe later this month.
The Ouya hardware will be sold in select Western European countries through distribution companies Flashpoint and Digital Brothers. Stores in Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Benelux, Scandanavia, Norway and Denmark will soon stock the microsconsole.
And in Eastern Europe, distributors Action and P.A. will be making sure that the hardware is available to purchase from select stores, although the specific countries in Eastern Europe have not yet been announced.![]()

I still think as a cheap digital-download console, OUYA could have real potential in developing countries. Hopefully, this is just the first phase of expansion that will eventually take in places like Brazil and South Africa
When I got my OUYA on June 28th, I moved to a house with my roommate(now housemate) and we didn't have internet for three weeks. I went to a friend's house with my OUYA to download everything including games, updates, XBMC add-ons, everything. Moral of the story is that it's easily possible. Even when they're absolutely sick of you coming over and trying on their clothes. Not my fault my room/housemate keeps taking my clean bras![]()

That is in no way the same. There are entire areas without any sort of internet access. It's not like in 1st world countries where you can head down the road to the nearest free internet source. The internet availability in developing countries like what he was talking about aren't like the US or Europe. And in most places there still aren't high speed internet available. I don't see how this would appeal to developing countries with it's HD tv requirements and necessity of internet.
PS2's are the standard console for areas like that because they are cheap, play games, and dvd's. It wasn't until 7 months ago that Sony shut down their PS2 manufacturing, so they can manufacture PS3's/4's because sales in developing areas were still going pretty strong.
And how would you do that at an internet cafe? You'd have to bring a tv with you or something. O.o I don't think they'd be into that.
I'm glad they are expanding. I hope it does well in Europe.
Its true people here in developing areas tend to buy the ps2 over the ps3 sometimes. It would make an excellent success if it came here to Egypt. But .. oh .. well.
