I thought the concept sounded incredibly cool. I downloaded the demo, couldn't figure it out and uninstalled it. After reading this thread, I might have to give it another shot. I still absolutely love the concept.
This game is very unique, a real Indie game if I may say.
It is probably not a game for everyone. The lack of hand holding in the game may put off many gamers, but that's the concept behind it.
It is a exploration game, where the fun part lies in having to figure things out on your own.
If you are stuck you can always find a video on Youtube though, even if they are from the PC port, you can figure it out for the Ouya on your own.
I can probably give a shout-out to "RockLeeSmiles" with his awesome Indie Impressions Game Reviews here.
He has one for this game, so take a look if you are stuck on the part in the beginning: RockLeeSmiles - Indie Impressions - Mirrormoon EP
This day is grim, it is raining. What wonderful weather for Gaming!
Sun's blazing, so let's stay in. It's wonderful weather for Gaming!
this game is brilliant. it is beautiful, esoteric, and exceptionally well crafted. i absolutely love how it builds upon exploration. it is like real life, there are no instructions, figure it out as you go.
but in reallife you've got society around you that you mimic.
IN PIXEL I TRUST
I, for one, enjoy this game very much. I was just wondering if there's any tips/tricks to get out of a "season" once you get to the "flip side" of the EP. I'm stuck on Season 38 and while my cartographic skills are improving I'm met with little but frustration when I try to go off of the in-game maps to find the needle in the haystack.* And, I was wondering two questions: 1.) Who currently plays this game? 2.) What season?
* For those who don't know, there's an entire whole bunch of different planets/moons to explore, and only one of them serves as an exit.
