D3 is a blizzard game, look at their history and you will find that gameplay has always been their biggest selling point, NOT graphics despite always being tailored to PC gamers first. Even back in the days of Warcraft 3 and Diablo 2 the games got several "Game of the year" awards, with criticism of having dated graphics.

But I thought it looked good on PC from the videos I've seen. I guess they don't have much experience with consoles though, the PS3 is quite a special architecture from what I understand, that experienced devs unlock the potential of. Maybe they had to compromise (a lot).
