    Have you bought Ouya games?

I had recently noticed one of the moderators here still hasn't bought a single Ouya game or app. Since I would expect this forum to have some of Ouya's biggest supporters I was wondering if many people here were like that or if they had bought games and how many they have bought. Ouya simply can't survive more of us buying games. Devs won't want to publish their games for Ouya and Ouya won't be making any money if we don't buy games. Maybe people who haven't bought anything could look here for suggestions on what is worth paying for. So far I bought 17 games. I'm listing them here as well as what I paid for them (some had discounts):

    heavy recoil - $1
hidden in plain sight - $1
    retro combat racer - $1
    pester - $1
    square off - $1
    super killer hornet - $1
    hellworm - $1
    box cat - $2
    gunslugs - $2
    ballistic se - $3
    heroes of loot - $3
    fpse playstation emulator - $3
    inferno+ - $3
    ice rage - $3
    knightmare tower - $4
    saturday morning rpg - $4
    bombsquad - $5
    minigore2 - $5

I feel I should also note that my original justification for buying Ouya was xbmc and emulators though I was interested in the indie games for it as well.

You're completely right; I'm gonna have to edit my post. I had been keeping a list of games I bought and games I was considering but somehow forgot about the dollar I spent on heavy recoil. Also reminds me I need to improve my online ranking.

Here's what I know I've gotten so far: (in no particular order)

    Knightmare Tower - $3.99
    Muffin Knight - $2.99
    In Plain Sight - $2.99
    Towerfall - $14.99
    Bombsquad - $4.99
    Minigore 2 - $4.99
    Dig! - $1.99
    Fallen World - $2.99
    Get On Top - $1.99
    2Player - $0.99
    Pocket RPG - $4.99

Less than it cost me to purchase NHL 14 for my PS3 recently and has given me MONTHS worth of fun an entertainment, not to mention fun when my friends come over.

    I just bought;
    -Towerfall
    -Knightmare Tower
    -Heroes of Loot

But my taste in game is quite bitchy, I have to enjoy a game too much in order to buy it

This is directly at me so I guess I clear it up a bit, but first... Yes, quite a few members have yet to purchase any video games from OUYA because they're here for other reasons such as a streaming box(XBMC), collecting the console for the sake of collecting, or miscellaneous things. I know you didn't mean anything by what you posted, but you inadvertently put me on the spot here. I posted this a long time ago and still hold true to it...

I was on the KickStarter in the first ten minutes and due to unfortunate circumstances because an animal of mine needed to be cremated. I missed out on backing. While his death may have resulted in less hair loss is to be left one's own imagination; it is besides the point.

The reason why I was interested in OUYA(and still am) is the idea behind it. Revolutionize and fix a broken system that has been placed because of years of dips***s with too much influential market control. Create a system where you can have anybody with a dream just "go for it" and give it their best shot. If it's not meant to be then fine, but if we're missing out on incredible ideas and philosophies because the tar is too thick. Well... Let's just say that it makes me want to just up and leave that spectrum of things and go back to my TurboGrafx-16 and Sega Saturn.

I honestly can't say if the customers before retail are on a high horse or not, but certainly flooding a innocent forum when you can go to the source and complain makes no sense. Regardless, I do however think that it's a great thing that OUYA's are selling out everywhere. On the other hand(and stop me if you've heard this) I've been waiting for a very long time just to throw down a hundred bucks and say "This is something I believe in." I would love to have the option to just press a donate button and transfer the funds but in this day of age, people can't just give hard-earned money out and not have something to show for it. Selfish or not, I'd like to at least fiddle around with a OUYA and hopefully be pleased.

Ultimately, If I'm not satisfied with my purchase when I finally do get it; then I'll always be able to take solace in the fact that I gave the idea itself some help."
I couldn't give a crap about the games, applications, or anything else on OUYA. I'm here for one reason and that reason is to help support a console that aims to "shake things up" and change things for the better. I know that purchasing supports the developers which sequentially supports OUYA because more purchases means more reasons to develop for the console and I'll EVENTUALLY buy games, but I'm in no hurry. I'm also not going to throw money at any of you either as you need to work for your money by creating quality content so encouraging half-assed games(which I don't see much of thankfully) is out of the question.

"But how do you expect them to get better if they're disheartened by people like you?" "How do you expect them to find a home to develop on if they can't get the funds from you to get better development tools?" This is not my problem by a long shot. Don't throw some shit on the store and expect me, or anybody else to pay just because you want to make a quick buck. Regardless if your reasons are to get better via practice or better means to develop things then get a job at Wendy's because I'm not paying for it.

OUYA won't die without my immediate support nor will the developer well dry up. I'll purchase things when I feel a urge to. I come on here and bust my ass for every single one of you to make this forum a better place to be for developers and members alike. Our goals are different, but our ways of accomplishing our each and individual goals are the same. Support, affection, belief, hope, longevity, trust, togetherness.

Furthermore, I've been getting quite a lot of crap for being a Super Moderator who has yet to purchase a single game, but little do you know that I'm with you every step of the way. Not only that, but Eddie K(OUYAForum Owner) has entrusted me to servitude to every single one of you so whether you have any ill-feelings of me being a Super Moderator who hasn't purchased anything remains irrelevant to me as it does him. I'm here to do a job first and then be a member second while a customer comes last. My purpose for being a moderator is to give a little push in the back to every member and help in every way that I can. Another way of showing support.

@Developers: You will get your money from me eventually if I have a interest in your games like any other customer. Just don't expect it to be within' your accounts for a long while. Rest assured though that I have over four-hundred bucks saved up specifically for OUYA games and it could potentially be coming your way. Sure it's not much when it's spread out throughout multiple games, but it shows that I had every intention of paying for quality entertainment and supporting OUYA from the get-go.

I've been up for thirty hours straight so I apologize if this post looks weird. @jbrodack: I will take your suggestions to heart along with whatever anybody else says.

EDIT* I'd also like to address that I'm nothing special. Not me or my money, but you guys overreacting to me doing the slightest things seemed to have given the impression that I for some reason am to other people. I may have come off "mean", but it wouldn't have had that tone if people would keep out of my business.

    As of now, I own:
    - Deep "2FREAKNHARD" Dungeons of Doom
    - Shadow "most monotonous TPS ever" Gun
    - Rage "This stuff is addicting!" Runner
    - Polarity A.K.A. "throw boxes around and solve puzzles!"

I'm stuck in DDD and finished both Shadowgun (with its buggy as hell add-on) and Polarity, so I'm planning on buying something else - maybe Sine Mora or Clark.

Nope, haven't bought a thing. Most of my gaming needs are satisfied, and the ones I intend to buy are the ones my kids want full versions of so I'd rather wait until special occasions when I can give them gift cards, and let them go wild.
