I haven't beaten all the challenges yet (I have a few of the hardest ones left) so if we had multiplayer I'd prefer that we first teamed up to help me clear the regular levels.

After finally trying Reaper: It was glorious. Everything made sense after a bit of fooling around. I leveled up a couple of times and bought the game (the third option, extra everything) on the spot. Loved it!

You concider pressing one (1) button "jumping through hoops"...? I pressed O to see what the first one costed, then pressed A and went over to the third one and pressed O - and then purchased. I'm not saying we can't be different - some of us have more patience than others - but come on now jmminch! It wasn't that much hassle.

The Dark Legend Edition is the only way to go. Paying $2 extra for an infinite arena, a fortune teller which can pluck extra special skill cards, 2 large armour sets, a decent size dark story arc and an entirely new lengthy game with a new character...

Why wouldn't anyone go Dark Legend??

How do I access these armour sets? After the puchase I went back into the game and nothing had changed. To be fair I only spent like half an hour with the game last night so maybe it'll become clear once I play it a bit more.

You should be given the dark 'Netherun' sword right away. The rest is aquired by visiting Miko the Blacksmith and the Artificer shop at regular intervals. So you will have to pay for them. But you earn so much currency in this game anyway, they're not too far out of reach.

You forgot that you have to enter your PIN each time, if you've got that enabled.

Also, part of the reason why I enabled the PIN in the first place was because there's far too many games that try to initiate a purchase when the user didn't ask to -- which is likely to lead to inadvertent purchases. The application should not try to initiate a purchase unless the user explicitly indicates they want to purchase something -- and that's not possible, if they expect you to start the purchase process before telling you what it costs. This is fundamentally a broken design.

Yeah, I could have found out what each one cost in a minute or so. But if the authors of the game aren't inclined to make it as easy as possible for me to purchase their product, why should I bother?

That's right! I actually had mine enabled a while back when I lent it to a gaming convention and it actually felt pretty boring typing in those four digits all the time.

Yes, haha! That's exactly how I ended up purchasing Pixl Love Rush Push Shower Dingdong or whatever it's called.

While I think this is very true, I'm guessing the missing pricetag is a rest from when it was a phone app - and had the pricetag outside, in the store.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the combat. Everything but the combat... not so much, but it reminds me a lot of Muramasa and is one of the best-looking games on the system.

    Re: Reaper - Hexage

This game is excellent! It is exactly games like this I was hoping would come to Ouya. The battle controls are great. The other controls are actually pretty intuitive once you get used to them. Great game. Just bought the $4.99 version this morning. Thanks for this!

I have to agree with this, the actual RPG elements are pretty weak.. especially considering just how incredibly linear the game is. Having said that, I am enjoying the game based on the combat and levelling/equipping my character alone.
