XY Cannon - Boris van Schooten

XY Cannon is an abstract shooter where you control two cannons at the same time. This game is a tribute to Jeff Minter's Laserzone.

This is my first Ouya release. Please use this forum for any comments about the game.

This game is open source. It is also available for Android. You can download the binaries and source code here:

This game is a lot of fun

even tho I'm not good at it yet lol. I got to lvl 3. well worth the 99 cent donation

Really enjoyed. I'm not familiar with Lazerzone, but I know Minter's Tempest 2000 and can definitely see the same aethestic

Arrrgh! Keep dying on level 6 - this game is rock hard!

Since the graphics can't really be appreciated until you see them in motion, I have now added a gameplay video!

Looks fantastic while moving. The colours and distortion effects are fantastic

Game is hard as hell with trying to coordinate both cannons. Would love to see more games in this style. Love trippy graphics like this.

WHOA!!!!

Destroy enemy ships using two separate sticks, in an arena that seems the spine of a porcupine!!!
This game is really a GEM!

I think could be appreciated at its best played by 2 players, but for one human is however great fun.

And the visuals are impressive... so minimal, so dynamic, so colorful.
Screenshots do not make justice to the game.
You must try it!!!
