That respectfully sounds as genuine as that post from a "mom" a few weeks back Sounds like spin and making Ouya seem like the victim when the devs have legit concerns. Case in point: STILL no storage solution and no retail effort to grow the install base.

As far as communication, there is a difference between substantive efforts and patronizing customers. BTW, for Ouya, devs and consumers are their customers.

That blog post is from an OUYA developer. The developer of Amazing Frog? in fact I think OUYA also understands that both devs and consumers are their customers, and your observation here is spot on.

Okay, I was wrong then. I admit my delusional paranoia has manifested into a pathological doubt.

So as OUYA community manager, 5 days ago you ask how you can help, yet 5 days later you still don't respond to or address any of the concerns raised in this thread.
I think that pretty much sums up what the OP is talking about in his original post.

This IS NOT the perception you want developers to have of OUYA.

Trust me, the last people you don't want on your side is us developers. If you lose us.. you're done.
You must of been unaware that I posted this when this thread started. Let me re-post it for the final time.

    - OUYA representatives are here to help. No one is making them be here, so we ask that you give a large amount of respect to any & all OUYA employees and representatives that post here. Their personal motives, comments and actions are not endorsed by OUYA themselves and thus should be taken as such. All personal requests (support, shipping, etc.) should continue to be submitted via the appropriate channels, as any single OUYA individual may not be able to speak to your request directly.
She has her own personal and professional life like the rest of us so free-time is small for her, not to mention you don't know if she's talking to Nooskewl in private message, or not. True that you guys are one of the things keeping OUYA relevant, but doing any kind of hostility towards her is a counter-productive course of action, don't you think? Staff won't tolerate any sort of this behavior due to a past incident with a previous OUYA Representative and we will come down very hard on anybody who chooses to go against our rule.

I edited my post as I did think it was too harsh, but unfortunately you've already quoted me, sorry about that.

Your point is understandable though, but if an OUYA representative is going to post in a thread, and be a community 'manager', I believe it should be followed up and handled accordingly.
Posting 'how can I help you' in a controversial thread then never being heard from again is a strange way to handle the community IMO.

And if we don't voice our concerns, then things won't get any better.
OUYA is already off to a rocky start in terms of public opinion, and trust me I do want to see it succeed, but OUYA needs to start handling the small things better, and this is an example of one of them.

Nooskool, have recent developments given you new insights and help restore your faith a little bit?

Hmmm...maybe they continued in private? That would be more professional as to entertain us. ;-)

I talked with one OUYA employee in private about this. My questions were answered but then I was sort of shamed for having brought this up, even though the questions weren't answered before I did? Not sure how that works but ya, for now I don't have any more questions.

That makes me curious. Were you made to feel bad for having asked things in such a manner? Or was it because you had questions in the first place?
