I was actually looking forward to trying this. I was a big NFL Blitz fan back in the day and thought this looked like fun. After hearing nothing about it since they announced multiplatform, I'm fairly convinced that it's vaporware.

I hope it's not a scam, but if it never comes out that's exactly what it is.

No it's not, it's just another game that didn't come out. If they got the FTGF money and then didn't come out then yes. Or they got a ton of money from a bunch of money. All they did was fund their own game with money from friends and family or whoever. Where's the scam there?

That they never updated anything after they were funded..? Some may see that as a possible scam (I do!)

Even worse; they said multiple times that the game was being worked on before they got funded, so either they lied or it was a scam.. whatever, poor people the ones who backed them..

Pretty much what InvaderGames said. Evidence does show that most of the backing was self/family/friends, but I'm sure some other folks backed because they want to play this type of game.

I'd like to see the game released. I'd like to see more sports and sports-themed titles on OUYA.

They may just not have it finished yet. In the end it means nothing to me so I'm willing to be patient.

Let's just wait patiently. Maybe OUYA Inc. is in the process of approving this game for Discover right now? Maybe they submitted the game on the thirtieth instead of meaning that OUYA Inc. would be approving it to Discover on the thirtieth.

Doubt if it's vaporware, there have actually been a few updates since the KS ended

Yeah, the Sonic games were a tad late also... just give it a few days.

If that's the case, why is it so hard for a developer to say: "Hey, we have submitted our game and it is in the process of being approved to be added to the Ouya Discover store" ? Now, I'm not a developer (nor near enough to be one), so I really don't know what all is involved, but it would seem to me if I had told people that game was going to be made available on X date, then I would at least give some kind of status update to let them know why the game wasn't appearing where everyone is looking for it.

I do also find it kind of odd that the twitter feed and activity stopped on Sept 6th. (At least, when I checked yesterday the last update was on the 6th.) You are going on close to two months of no updates or any activity. Is that normal for a game in development?

Most of the other devs to update us. For example devs for Neon Shadow, which was supposed to be released 2 days ago told us they submitted it and are waiting for approval. The dev for this was never very informative. Only time they really started chatting was to threaten someone, that posted a comment on the kickstarter, that they were going to be sued. Other then that we more or less have not heard a thing. Not surprised really.
