Unfortunately, this game just wasn't for me. It's difficult to say specifically why exactly. It's a good game, so that's not the problem.

I just guess that in all my years of gaming, I couldn't shake off the fact in my mind that I've played something like Clark countless times before over the past 3 decades. It's nothing against the game at all. I wish I could love Clark, but I just couldn't get any fun or entertainment value from it. These sorts of games are a rarity these days. But in the 90's they were like what endless runners are today. Everyone (mainly in the indie world) was doing them and as a player, I was on that bandwagon from the start, until the bitter end.

So that kinda killed the concept before I even got started. I gave it a shot though.

I'm hate to say this but feel the same way too. It looks really amazing and I am glad to get a really well-made puzzle game but I just couldn't get into it.

Hey guys! Thanks a lot for your support and your feedback! We really appreciate it especially after the first replies to OUYA's facebook announcement where along the lines of "all games should be for free, why do they have a price tag?". I's refreshing to hear some positive feedback now! Really: Thank you!

@thehole88: Uno de los diseñadores de niveles es de sur america. Tal vez pueda hacer una traducción posterior. Por ahora: sólo Inglés.

@vatigo: Thanks for the feedback- I'll forward it to our coder, Matthias.

@Saracen26: Hey man! Thanks for trying it out anyways! There sure is a lot of 1982' Sokoban in it (eventhough we left out the horrible getting-stuck-mechanic ). Out of curiosity: What other games where you reminded of, playing CLARK?

    Cheers

One of the few games I didn't even try before purchasing as I've been looking forward to this for awhile. I only had a chance to play for a tiny bit but i appreciate the game saving wherever you were when you exit. I was worried I'd have to start the level over from the beginning.

Probably won't get a chance to really sit down and play until the weekend due to work but so far I'm enjoying it.

Edit: Played a little more and would like to request an option to disable the auto advance on conversations. Sometimes I miss some of the conversation.

Another thing I noticed is if you are in the pause/menu when using a 360 controller and try to use the dpad it registers it as if you are trying to select the option that's highlighted instead of moving the selection. I accidentally restarted a level because of this.

I picked it up yesterday and just wanted to say that I love the artwork in this and the game play is pretty good. I hope it sells tons!

    AW: CLARK - GoldenTricycle

I'd be sooo curious what GoldenTricycle will earn with their OUYA release. It's obviously a title that was very well received, it was priced not too high and not too low, and supposedly it will get good sales. But what does that mean, on the OUYA? 500$ ? 5.000$ ? I have no idea how it's working out for OUYA devs.

What a fantastic game. A great variety of puzzles. Sometimes it reminds me of chips challenge, other times portal, but at the same time it's got an atmosphere all its own.
